These are two paintings / exercices I made about two old religious buildings in Lisbon that I like a lot.
Both works have as basis a photography.
This watercolor represents the Hieronymites Monastery's cloister second level. Built in the 16th century. Work of the architect João de Castilho.
This gouache represents a simple but very charmous church, it was built in 1797 and belongs to a confraternity - Senhor Jesus do Triunfo. It was built 42 yrs after the big earthquake.
