An arrested cop that couldn't be portraited. That's why Expresso choose me to illustrate the article. No photographers were allowed.
For the cover of the magazine I choose the cell, but we can't see the prisoner inside, it's too dark, full of ghosts.
For the second illustration, I drew a body with no face. A clock as his only companion, helps him count the time (clic here). Clean clothes, dirty room. He didn't deserve it (?).
For the third, his sad eyes...
A ilustração da cela foi capa da Revista do Expresso, num sábado de 2001. O artigo foi sobre um polícia preso. Os jornalistas não o puderam fotografar, por isso pediram-me para reconstituir a cena, com realismo, mas sem nenhuma foto da cara como referência.
